05-Dec-2011 -- This was a fun confluence visit! Driving west from Wickenburg, I first tried approaching the point from the south (from highway 60), but hit a dead end at a private ranch. So instead, I decided to try a northerly approach from highway 71.
On highway 71, I found a dirt road with an unlocked "game reserve" gate at [34.03994,-113.07117]. After a few miles, I turned left onto another dirt road at [34.00258,-113.04987], then veered left around a corral at [34.00108,-113.03863]. I parked my SUV at [34.00290,-113.02305] - about 1.3 miles from the confluence point. The 2.6 mile round-trip hike was an easy hike over flat terrain, on a crisp December day (with temperatures around 50 degrees F).
The confluence point lies in a thicket of thorny bushes. A geocache (a plastic jar) was wedged into one of the bushes. I took my north-east-south-west photos from a point a few feet to the north, so as to get a better view of the surroundings.
