27-Nov-2011 -- I decided to do this confluence due to my Geography professor Steven Emrick @ Glendale Community College , and now I’m hooked my wife and I have decided to do all of Arizona and wherever we go from now on , this is so much fun!
We started our day on my Birthday the 27th of November and left a little early we headed west on Interstate 10 From Phoenix and then went south on Highway 8 into the Town of Gilabend, and then proceded West until we got to Painted Rock Dam road Exit 102 , now driving North we saw several Coyotes.
Arriving at 33 degrease North we parked the truck on the side of the road and decided to approach the confluence on foot , My wife,Daughter and My 7 year old son made it to the area fine with no problems , now I can see why I live in Arizona the area was beautiful and easy to do thanks Professor Emrick . We also drove to the Dam but no water, it was a great drive !!
