(visited by Chris Mandalov, Paul Brocklehurst and Peter Wirthensohn) 02-Jan-2012 -- This confluence is in the ocean in St. Vincent Gulf, in South Australia. It's about 20 km from nearest land and the hills above Adelaide are just visible to the East. Three of us visited this Confluence on a sailing trip from the port of Adelaide (Outer Harbour) to Edithburgh. We sailed on Liesl, a 40 foot Beneteau 40.7 and it took us about 5 hours to reach the Confluence. |
