07-Feb-2014 -- On the route 40 lies the one horse village of Los Tamariscos which consists of a museum and a couple of buildings. 4 km outside this village is a gravel road turning off to the confluence. The gate was locked, it was late, the wind was howling and bad weather approached, so we decided to look for a suitable campsite for the night, which we found a few kilometers away.

The next morning we returned to the gate which was locked with a large padlock. After having a closer look, we discovered a way to open this gate without any problems and managed to drive to the confluence as close as 250 meters.
