13-Aug-2000 -- Two of us on a cycling trip to Orkney, a group of islands off the north coast of Scotland. Location was a field full of cows, who obligingly kept out of the way of the photographs. Access was by climbing a fence and jumping down from about 5 ft, an activity which caused us both to stumble and fall, with me landing in a warm and crusty pile of cow dung. What looks like a healthy tan in the photographs, isn't.
