15-May-2015 -- After visiting the "Oregon Trail Historical Interpretive Site” - near Baker City, Oregon - I made a short detour off I-84 to try to visit this ‘Forgotten Degree Confluence Point’ (visited for the first and only time 14 years ago, in May 2001). Despite the wet weather, I had hoped to register a successful visit, but when I drove to the closest point on Powder River Lane - just ¼ mile away - I saw “No Trespassing; Strictly Enforced” signs posted on the fence. I didn’t want to go to the nearby farmhouse to check with the owners, because I don’t like bothering people about trivial matters like this. So I decided to register this as another ‘incomplete’.
I hope that someone can revisit this point sometime in the future - during better weather - and get some good photos. I imagine that the views here would be quite scenic, should the weather cooperate.
