28-May-2017 -- We had 4 days of vacation in Liguria and this was a perfect occasion to pay a visit at 44N 8E.

This was the fourth visit. We parked our car on the road side of the crossroad SP6/SP23 and from there hiked on the dust road running southeast. That forest road looks like it has been designed as a service road to the CP as it allows you to get almost in a straight line to the point.

At approximately 30 m from the confluence we left the road and hiked straight uphill. The hill side has been devastated by a forest fire 2 seasons ago, so the landscape was completely different of the one described by previous visitors.

The thorny bushes have been destroyed by the fire but we still had to scramble through burnt wood and branches to get to the point. Once there the view over the hills and mountain is really nice (pictures 7 and 8).

We also would like to emphasise the nice city of Albenga with the wonderful medieval artifact and famous for the towers (le Torri) waiting for your visit (picture 9).
