19-Oct-2018 -- Having already visited this point twice before (in 1999 and 2010), and having obtained ‘all zeros’ on my second visit, I normally wouldn’t have bothered to visit it a third time. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the point lies outside the no-fly zones for all of the Las Vegas-area airports - so it would be OK to fly my drone to get a view from overhead. So, during a visit to Las Vegas, I decided to visit this point one more time.
There seem to have been few changes since my previous visit 8 years ago; by 2010 urban sprawl had already run up against the boundary of the "Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area”, 0.1 miles from the point - which lies on a steep, rocky hillside. (I was pleased that there was now no obvious ‘geocache’ box at the point.)
Here is a remote-controlled aerial video of this confluence point.
