04-Oct-2020 -- A few days vacation during the Covid 19 pandemic ! As the travel restrictions got more and more restrictive we ended up with our only option left : a road trip in our home country. So we decided to head north with the goal of visiting the Loire valley and the famous castles stringed all along the river. Traveling with our car also gave us the opportunity to visit a number of CPs lying along our itinerary.
N45 E2 was the first point of ours trip. It is located in a farming region of center France on the eastern edge of the central mountain range called « Massif Central » dating back from 500 million years during the paleozoic time. This is the 4th visit of that point since 2001.
The point lies in a pasture on the north side of a paved road making the visit quick and easy. We stayed on the road to avoid walking on the muddy field and the cow droppings. We shot the picture from the road side 80 meters south west of the actual point.
