25-May-2022 -- On the way to a short holiday trip to Paris, I took the chance to visit two confluence points. The second one was 49° North 03° East.

From the Autobahn A4 I took the exit No. 18 Meaux Est direction East and took the junction on the road No. D17E direction North. After passing the village Isles-les-Meldeuses we crossed the river La Marne on a often photographed and since the last visit in 2018 new painted bridge. I parked the car directly behind the bridge, right in front of a small electric transforming station. Now I walked back to the bridge, crossed the smaller part of the river La Marne, reached the island and took a very overgrown track down from the pedestrians way to the natural ground. The path was really hard to find and maybe I missed it, but in the end I reached the closer area of the CP 49N-03E, located only two meters away from the water. The quality of the pictures is not the best caused by shadow from the trees and the sunlight shining partly through. I also took a picture from the sluice, direction Northeast from the CP.

After this visit we took the road D405, passed Meaux and reached Paris soon.

On the northern riverside of the Marne River, very close to the water.
