09-Aug-2022 -- I've had confluence points resolve of a road-side but this is first for me - all the zeros from possible from within my car - while on the highway. No - I parked up somewhere safe and took my pictures from the side of the road. An ideal spot for a commemorative marker - but clearly the good folks of Grube have better things to be doing with their time. Nearby there is an impressive Schloss Hotel - it is now on my list.

I've driven through some lovely oak woodlands and along many kilometres of tree lined roads. These are a feature of much of north eastern Germany (and nearby Poland). Despite the collision risk they are clearly valued as I came across stretches where old and diseased trees had been recently replaced with new planting.
