11-Nov-2022 -- Made the drive out here before the snow inevitably flies onto these forest roads. The road to access this confluence was surprisingly easygoing. The trail that leads to the confluence is absolutely overflowing with invasive tansy and other shrubs and was rarely clear. It would be tough to locate in any other season.
Approx. 2/3rds of the way there is a branch of the French River that must either be jumped or forded (in wet season). 500 feet from the confluence I turned right just past someone's unoccupied hunting blind and was surprised when the trail turned almost directly to the confluence. My GPS had me in a small grove of aspens about 15-20ft west of the Geocache site. Probably the easiest of my 4 confluence visits to-date.
