02-Apr-2024 -- I am currently driving from California to Texas, hoping to view the Total Solar Eclipse on April 8th. Today, while driving from Deming, New Mexico to El Paso, Texas, I made a detour to revisit this easy Degree Confluence Point, that I had previously visited more than 14 years ago, in December 2009. As before, I visited White Sands National Park (formerly National Monument) en route.

As before, I parked on Rialto Road, and made the very short hike across the railroad tracks to reach the point, which was exactly as I had remembered it. It is remarkable how similar the North, East, South, West photos are to my earlier photos.

Unlike my previous visit, this time I had a drone with me, so I was able to get an aerial view of the point, and the countryside to the East.
