18-Aug-2024 -- This is the 2nd of 2 CP visits made during a 8 week trip to Denmark and Sweden.

The prevoius is N59 E17.

After another 4 days of hiking and cycling it was time for this CP. I parked the car at the sign for the Hammersta national park at around 12:10. The distance to the CP was 2.1 km plus about 135m of as-the-crow-flies hiking.

Again I loaded my bike pannier with the necessary equipment and headed of at about 12:20, I got to within 135m of the CP and parked the bike behind a tree. The CP was located higher up in the trees somewhere. There was a hiking path up into the trees which I followed but this veered away in the wrong direction so I b-lined to the CP and got to a spot a few metres above the CP.

I climbed down and the usual photos were taken. I returned to the bike and went exploring along the gravel road for a while returning to the car at 13:40, the whole visit having taken an hour and twenty minutes.

I had been planing on visiting N63 E13 and N63 E14 but got no farther than N59 as there was so much hiking and cycling to be done in the South of Sweden that it was not necessary to go further North. Next year the plan is to immediately drive to N63 and visit those CPs before starting to hike and cycle.
