11-Apr-2025 -- This is the 4th confluence point that I visit on my hiking trip from Portugal to Singapore. It is also the first point on my trip that I hadn’t visited before. On my way from Barcelona Northwards, I had to make a choice between visiting the city of Girona or visiting this confluence point. I opted to visit this confluence point and skipped the city. The confluence point is 15 km east of town, on a fairly accessible grain field. I found the point exactly it’s the edge of field. I just had to wait a couple of minutes until all zeros lined up automatically on my GPS device without any need for my own movement.

I reached the confluence point coming from the south and left it to the north. Each time I had to pass by farmhouses. I didn’t meet anyone. So there was no need to explain my mission to anyone. Now, I’m spending the night just 5 km north of the confluence point at a rural farm stay near the town La Pera.
