10-Jan-2001 -- January 10th, 2001 was the day we had waited for. A beautiful Danish winter day with bright sun and a light frost.

There was three things I could do on such a day:
1. Go in my studio and work on some gold or silver.
2. Go in our forest and cut some trees.
3. Do the confluence N56E10.
I decided for the confluence.

We, my wife (through 48 years) Tove and I packed a basket with coffee, sandwiches, compass, maps and binoculars and drove with the GPS in my pocket the 65 km, until we parked by a little house about 300 meters from the spot.

We walked with our basket over a frozen field, went through a couple of hedges and all the time we followed the advice from my GPS. The spot is located in a little forest close to a little pond. Beautiful views in all directions. We planted our Danish flags, enjoyed our coffee and made the photos.

When we drowe away we made a stop near a farm on a narrow country road looking back to the spot where we had just been. We met a man, told him about the confluence project and asked him: Is it your land? No, he said, the farm "Nissumgaard" and the land belongs to my son Hans Bo Hansen. He raises thousands of pigs outdoors. Amazing! Pigs living in open air in such a beautiful nature! Now I know why Danish bacon is so good.
