25-May-2001 -- The point is about three miles south of Coolidge, KS, in a pasture. This is rolling plains country, and the point is on the south slope of a sand hill near the top. From a three-way county road intersection, I drove 1/2 mile south across a pasture until a fence stopped me, and then hiked another 1/2 mile south to the point. There were signs of cattle in all of the pastures, but I didn't see any. I did walk up a pair of greater prairie chickens near the confluence point.
