08-Jun-2001 -- Coming from our visit to
49°N 18°E we went west via
Opava to Rapotín. We left Rapotín in direction northwest. After a few hundred meters we stopped at a bridge crossing a small creek.
We walked along the bank of the creek and could locate the confluence about 20 m west of the creek within a barley grain field. We could walk along tracks from a tractor without major harm to the plants.
On our way back to the car we chose to cross the creek and walk directly to the road where we installed the reference plate (~120 m away). Unfortunately the plate broke into two pieces and we had to repair it with a tape from the car's first-aid kit.
We left Rapotín and on the way back to Austria we had a nice dinner at a roadhouse. It took us more than the half night to return in the rainy weather.
