16-Jul-2001 -- This confluence is the Lower Glenelg National Park in Victoria and is in forest with dense undergrowth. We drove north from Nelson and went past the 38th parallel to a walking trail that went west. The trail takes you to (and past) the 141st meridian but the undergrowth is still very thick.
As we had neither the time nor the correct clothing for a walk of some one kilometre through heavy and prickly bushes we did not attempt to get to the confluence. Maybe next time.
There are some very pretty wild flowers here.
