12-May-2001 -- This is another example of the lovely country to be found in Oklahoma.
The approach was made by driving up out of Texas along Oklahoma Hwy 81, which in itself is a wonderful drive. I would recommend stopping in Marlow, which has a bit of history behind it associated with the an old cattle trail - that and oil.
The confluence was approached from the east, after roughly a half mile walk from the county road just off of Hwy 81, after ducking under the Baily Turnpike. It lies on some land owned by an oil outfit. And just adjacent to it is a small wet-weather stock pond.
There is a dirt road leading in from the east and just as the road turns south is the confluence, over a fence several meters off the road. I am not sure where the road leads to heading south as I was out of time and needing to head back south.
There is a nice rise to the east that in cooler weather would make a nice spot for a picnic, if one is so inclined.
