26-Jul-2001 -- During a fishing trip on the Great Slave Lake we camped near this confluence. I was planning to visit 62N 114W as well but due to low fuel had to pass it by. I could not show the coordinates with all zeros as it was blowing pretty good and it was kind of hard to hold the boat on the point long enough to snap the image. I'll get the 62N 114W confluence next week.

This confluence is a couple of kilometres offshore in the Hearne Channel on the East Arm of the Great Slave Lake. I took a picture of my Garmin 48 screen as well as one of my fellow fishermen on the boat. Other pictures show Blanchette Island to the SE, Francois Bay to the North( where we were camped), and a look to the west down the Channel.

As you can see it is beautiful country.
