09-Aug-2001 -- Our vacation included a day of travel between Glacier and Yellowstone national parks which happened to go very near to the confluence. From US 89, a nice 2-lane highway, we turned onto local roads, thence gravel farm roads, and finally a track through a fallow hayfield; ever following the trusty GPS.
It was a fairly short walk to the exact spot. It was in a bit of a depression in the field, marked by hay bales, flowers and pasture patties.
It added a bit of an adventure to a day otherwise devoted to covering miles of roadway.
