(visited by Danny Strickland and Hubert Strickland) 03-Feb-2001 -- My father (Hubert Strickland) came for a visit and I thought it would be fun to visit a confluence together. This one was less than an hour away, so off we went. We drove as close as we could and hiked the rest of the way - a little over 1/3 of a mile. The confluence is in the middle of a hunting club, but lucky for us, hunting season ended last month. About a half mile away was the Graceland Ranch. I guess the owner is a big Elvis fan. It's funny because just as we passed it, we were listening to Elvis on the stereo. This was my first one and I hope to make many more.
