17-Nov-2001 -- It was a sunny, but chilly autumn day, when we tried to reach the 46ºN 20ºE confluence point. We left our town, Pécs/Hungary at 8 in the morning. We were well equipped, we had two cars, maps, communication tools – walkie-talkies, mobiles – a GPS and rubber boots, for walking through the fresh plough-land if it would necessary. Our first stop Subotica/Szabadka was only 30 km/20 miles from the confluence. We visited there the famous open-air market. After buying some articles we were ready to reach our target. As we have seen on the map the point is about 800 meters from the motorway. Luckily we have found a trackway, which lead to a farm. We have left our cars near the farm and have started to find the point. We would have seemed funny walking around the farm with our GPS and some minutes later we have started to take pictures of each other in the nowhere.
After the successful finding we went back to Subotica/Szabadka and took a dinner in a nice pizzeria.
