16-Feb-2002 -- Although it is possible to drive up to 250 m from the location, you most probably need an additional 800 m walk to reach the point. It is winter now, the swampy neighborhood of the river is frozen. I am afraid spring visitors will have a harder try. Anyway, despite what the detailed map shows, it is not a real swamp, but only a wet area.
Well, seems like the place is suited for hunting activities, thus be careful not to be taken for wild pig (seriously!)
My English is not good enough to master the forestry terminology, so have a look at the pictures.
Due to non-averaging GPS Garmin 45XL and lack of head antenna, it was rather an art to get some reception under the trees. Freeze and wait, 5 meters to north, freeze and wait (for satellites)... well, I expect the actual error was not more than 30-40 m.
Tõrva is the nearest really civilised place in case you need the rest, to drink or surf in Internet.
Because I like GNU style copyleft much more thah the Orwell or DMCA style copyright, feel free about the pictures - use them as you want but should they kill your dog, you don't blame me.
