Coming from Trida, we basically headed due north past several sheep stations for about 130 km before turning right just before crossing the 32nd parallel.

The confluence is in a lightly wooded area so it wasn’t feasible to drive more than about 50 metres off the road – which left me with a walk of about 800 metres to the confluence. Ada and the kids stayed with car and had a picnic while I did the walk.

There were quite a lot of feral goats around and I could hear a goat kid in distress not far from the confluence, but I wasn’t game to investigate.
