09-Mar-2002 -- Saímos de Curitiba por volta das 2:00 PM, em direção à Ponta Grossa pela BR 277. O GPS marcava aproximadamente 87km da confluência. Passamos por Ponta Grossa e seguindo a indicação do GPS fomos por uma estrada de terra até aproximadamente 1.800m da confluência.

Deixamos o carro em um milharal e eu e o Dalton seguimos a pé. Após atravessarmos um bosque por trilhas de pescador, chegamos à beira do lago, a uma distância de 850m do ponto.

Voltamos ao carro e demos a volta pela estrada até o outro lado do lago, seguindo sempre a indicação do GPS. Infelizmente ainda não conseguimos chegar ao ponto. Como estava ficando tarde resolvemos voltar à Curitiba e pretendemos fazer uma nova tentativa em breve.

We left Curitiba around 2:00 PM, in direction to Ponta Grossa through route BR 277. The GPS indicated 87km to the confluence point. We went pass Ponta Grossa and following the GPS indications drove a dirt road until some 1800m from our target.

Dalton and I parked the car and continued by foot. Then we crossed a forest through the trails of fihsermen, till we reached the shore of a lake, at a distance of 850m to the confluence.

We returned to the car and drove to the other side of the lake, always following the indications of the GPS. Unfortunately we did not arrive to the point of confluence. Since it was getting late we decided to return to Curitiba and intend to do another attempt soon.
