18-May-2002 -- N48-W69 was my first attempt at getting to a confluence, it is nicely located at the start of the Gaspe peninsula and a good warm up for my next attempt.

This confluence is in an open field next to a cleared section of forest and small creek. Getting there involved driving 600km from Montreal then riding and walking through recently cropped fields and thick pine groves.
