25-May-2002 -- I departed 48°N 108°W earlier and drove back through Malta, Montana to Glasgow. From Glasgow I went south and then cut back to the west 28 miles (45 km) along shale roads to this confluence. For a while it looked like it might rain, but it didn’t.
I was able to drive very close to the spot and only had to walk a short distance across a small gully to reach it. I wish there were more to say about this visit, but it was the easiest one I’ve ever done. I dodged a few cows along the way, but that’s normal for this part of the country. I took the photos and headed back to Glasgow to spend the night.
The next confluence on my plan was 48°N 106°W.
