29-Aug-2002 -- I was on my way to Daet, Camarines Norte, Philippines when I remembered that one of the confluences I plan to visit happen to be in the vicinity. After passing through the Bicol National Park, it became evident that the exact confluence area would be quite far from the nearest road. So I stopped by the best possible area for staging the "expedition" when situation allows it. Picture 1 is of the road leading to Daet. Picture 2 shows the close-up of the name of the bridge. Picture 3 is of the house near the location and Picture 4 shows the gps reading. One possible problem for the "expedition" would be the presence of rebels in the area.
