27-Jul-2002 -- My wife and I planed a trip to Rio Grande Do Sul (south Brazilian state) to the town of Gramado and we saw that confluence 29S 51W was near the BR116 federal highway.

In the return trip(27/07/02) we enter in a secondary road in São Marcos city in the direction to Criuva. Near Criuva we observed that the highway moved off direction and we decided take a dirt road, after 3 km we used a farm street access, arriving 500m of the confluence.

We walked this distance in a field, arriving at the accurate point of the confluence.

The region is typical countryside, where the main activity is the growth of cattle, with very pretty landscapes. The photographs are not very good since it was almost dark in function of the cloudy day.
