28-Dec-2002 -- This confluence forms part of an eleven-confluence journey that starts at 27°S 150°E.

Continuing along the Balonne Highway towards Cunnamulla, I was hoping to find a track or four-wheel-drivable countryside to get me a bit closer to the confluence. Unfortunately I couldn’t find either, so I was left with a 1.85 kilometre walk from the highway to the confluence. Taking into account some cross-track deviation, the four kilometre round-trip took me just under one hour.

The confluence was in some lightly wooded scrub with no sign of wildlife other than a dozen or so kangaroos that bounced away well before I could get my camera fired up.
