22-Jan-2003 -- I was planning a trip for buisness that would be taking me to the north west corner of Alberta, no better time to incorporate the GPS into my travels. I set waypoints of the unvisited confluence points and thought if I was close, I would try to visit one.
This site was very straight forward, only a few kilometers out of the way while travelling from Rainbow lake to Zama City via the Assumption turn off. The actual confluence is only 30 meters of off the road, so I was happy that I would not have to unload the quad in the -29 temperature.
The site is located in dense willow and popular trees, so I didn't take a photo there, other than the GPS. It took me 7 tries to take a photo of the GPS that was in focus and framed, as it was the photo shown here is not very good. Amazing what the cold will do to fingers. I did take a few photos from the road.
