05-Apr-2003 -- 05-April-2003 39N 119W is located on a hill side in the desert East of Yerington Nevada. Access is via well maintained roads that lead within a quarter of a mile of the actual confluence. We started out to just scout the area but we got within a few miles and the road was in good shape so we decided to forge on. Arriving at the confluence about mid-day the weather was cool and clear. After parking we headed cross country until the GPS showed all zeros. The soil around the confluence is loose and clay like in texture. I would not recommend a visit in wet weather.
