14-Jul-2003 -- Weil ich 3 Wochen auf Rhodos verbrachte, wollte ich mir den Confluence-Point, der ca. 6 km weit draußen auf dem Meer lag, nicht entgehen lassen. Nach einem kurzen Gespräch mit Roland vom Wassersportzentrum Kiotari ging es mit einem Motorboot in Richtung Punkt. Wir benötigten mehrere Versuche, den Punkt genau zu erreichen, da die Strömung doch relativ stark war. Doch wir kamen auf 10 Meter heran. Vom CP aus hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf die Ostküste der Insel.

Nochmals ein Dankeschön an Roland, der so freundlich war, mit mir zum Confluence-Point zu fahren.

14-Jul-2003 -- Because I spent 3 weeks on Rhodos, I wanted for myself the Confluence Point which lay approx. 6 kms away outdoors on the sea, and did not want to allow it to escape. After a short discussion with Roland of the watersports center Kiotari, we went with a motorboat toward the point. We needed several attempts to reach the point exactly since the current was still relatively strong. But we approached within 10 meters. From the CP one has a wonderful view of the east coast of the island.

Again a "thank you" to Roland who was so friendly as to go with me to the Confluence-Point.
