05-Aug-2003 -- This point is so easily accessible, I am astonished no one else has visited it yet. It is just 500 meters west of the road leading from Bilecik to Eskişehir in the small village Demirköy. You could even go there by train on the once famous Bagdad line. The train station is located in Demirköy, but named Karaköy.
From the road I went uphill in western direction past some deserted houses with their neglected gardens. The main area is crisscrossed by sheep trails, so I had no difficulties getting to the point. The altitude is 718 meters and I had such a good GPS-reception: the accuracy was 9 meters.
I took pictures facing east, south and north. Facing west you do not have a view as the point is on the slope. Because of the glaring sun I was unable to take a decent GPS-receiver picture. So I have added a picture of the village sign and the train station to prove I was there.
