Luego de recorrer 430 Km desde Puerto Ordaz hasta Puerto Píritu nos dirigíamos hacia el pueblito del Mango en las montañas de Anzoátegui cerca de Onoto y nos conseguimos la siguiente vegetación.

Caminos muy estrechos con vaguadas de montañas y causes de ríos secos que solo se alimentan de lluvias esporádicas, debido a esto la flora y fauna es desértica pero abundante de tunas, cactus, cuji y guaritoto blanco que es muy venenoso al contacto con la piel.

Esto dificultó que pudiéramos avanzar los últimos 270 m, luego de caminar 2,5 Km para llegar al tan deseado punto. Se recomienda llevar ropa para montaña, mucha agua y un carro 4 X 4 por los caminos que hay que hacer para acercarse antes de comenzar a caminar.

Recuerden llevar unas cervezas para celebrar el viaje.

Notre 4x4 nous amene a 1,2 km de la convergence. Bergig und undurchdringlich bewachsen ist diese Gegend. Eine gerade noch befahrbarer Bergpfad führte uns 1,4 km an unser Ziel heran. Von dort aus konnten wir zu Fuß durch ein trockenes Flussbett bis zu 270 m an den Schnittpunkt gelangen.

Unser Erfolg wurde durch die Vegetation und den steile Hang vereitelt. Nur mit schwerer Schutzkleidung und Machete könnte ein weiterer Versuch gelingen.
