05-Dec-2003 -- This confluence took about 8 hours, spread over 2 days, to find. We finished up walking through a swamp and into an old deserted and neglected orchard of local trees. Heavily overgrown with grass and ferns.The day was very hot, a normal day for Brunei.The general area was a normal forested hillside very overgrown and nothing out of the ordinary. The actual area for the confluence was cleared by me for a diameter of about 5 feet using a local parang (machete).

The photographs were taken using a Sony digital camera. The confluence was found using a Garmin eTrex GPS.

The error shown on the GPS was 27 feet (8.23 meters). We were successful to get exactly 115 degrees East and 05 degrees North to be displayed on the GPS. I wish to thank my good friend Chua Eng Hin of Limbang who helped me find this confluence. Much sweat was donated by both of us in finding this confluence.
