16-Dec-1999 -- Having paid a visit to my new dentist in
Crawfordsville, Indiana, we drove out of town on State Hwy 32 through
the Indiana countryside. A light snowfall had occurred overnight and made
the day even more exciting. Passing through the community of Yountsville I
turned onto an unpaved road named County Road 500 W. It is a short
north-south road which soon turned 90 degrees to the west, then back 90
degrees to the south - now the road is deemed the label of County Road
525 W (still unpaved). Using my copy of the corner of the Waynetown
USGS quad I locate two still standing houses which are guiding me to the
correct location. My prey appears to be located in posted and fenced
woodland up a slope to my left and the direction east. My first picture is
up the slope to where the confluence lies less than 500 feet from the road.
