25-Mar-2004 -- Its been over a year since I captured my first confluence point so I've had an urge to get out there and visit another. 32°S 117°E is little over an hours drive from home so it seemed the logical choice.

I travelled east to York and continued on the York-Quarading road until I reached the Greenhills South Road. Here I turned right and headed south until I reached the conspicuous bridge noted in the previous visit. From there it was a short walk across the dry bed of the Mackie river to the confluence point. It appears as though sheep have been grazing in the area as the grass is much lower than in photos of the previous visit.

I might try and get back here in the winter months when everything is nice and green and maybe there will even be some water in the so called river!
