02-Aug-2004 -- My wife Diane and son Curtis and I visited this confluence at about 2:45 PM. It was a hot afternoon with intermittent rain showers (which didn't seem to cool the temperature at all.)

Diane and I had just arrived at the Atlanta Georgia Airport for a visit with Curtis. We enjoyed riding in the car from the airport to Lawrenceville, Georgia. We soon found ourselves on Ashwood Drive. We parked the car as we approached 34 degrees North latitude.

We parked the car and walked a few feet to the south until we saw 34.00000 on the GPS. Then we walked to the westernmost edge of the street which placed us at 83.99992 West longitude. We were standing next to the front yard of a private residence at number 1470. The GPS showed 8 meters to the confluence, which would have placed us very near to or perhaps inside the house.

We didn't have time nor the desire to contact the home owner, so we took photos and left. The neighborhood is very upscale and filled with lovely and expensive homes.
