19-Aug-2004 -- We took a road trip from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada to visit our daughters - one in Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A. and one in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is one of fourteen successful confluence visits along the way.

We headed out of Flint, Michigan on Highway 21. Before reaching the town of Corunna we parked on the edge of the highway near W84°. The confluence is 76 meters north of the highway in a soybean field. Because this crop was not doing well we were able to find areas of bare soil on which to walk without destroying any plants. On the opposite side of the highway there was a similar crop that looked thick and healthy. We do not know what made the difference but we would not have made it to the confluence had it been in that field.

As we drove west along Highway 21 towards Corunna we passed small farms, horses, fields of corn, soybean crops, and harvested wheat fields. Signs along the highway promoted a corn maze near Corunna. On the corn maze web site (www.cornmazefun.com) you can see pictures and maps of two mazes in the area. The mazes are professionally designed and cut into the corn using a GPS. Shortly before reaching Corunna passed a patriotic tavern called "Rock-A-Billy Inn". A sign near the front door welcomed fishermen.
