25-May-2000 -- It's Memorial Day Weekend and corn planting time
in Indiana. This confluence, 41 north 86 west is located near the town of Akron,
in the heart of north central Indiana's corn country. We located Leon Schipper
and received permission to photograph the confluence. The Schippers farm
about 286 acres in Fulton County. This is the first confluence we have
photographed with the SA turned off. The GPS sure has settled down and is
very accurate.
Photograph one, two and three is looking east, south and west respectively
from the confluence.
Picture #4 is a Canadian visitor. This rock and others probably made its
way from Canada with the help of a glacier. Picture #5 is the obligatory GPS
receiver among the new corn.
