05-May-2013 -- Comments: This was the ninth of ten confluence visits in E. Colorado in two days, having just journeyed north from 38N, 104W and being tired of worrying about cows being between me and confluences. Heading due west after parking, I ran along a path by a fence over mostly agricultural land, traversed a dry river bed, stumbled across a beautiful headstone with a wonderful inscription here, and finally arrived at the site quite easily. It is located again on cattle-grazing land. Saw a lone pronghorn running across the plains to my west before heading back.
Time arrived: 12:37p
Temperature: 54 deg. F
Parking location: CR 149 and CR 38
Approx. distance to confluence: 1.25 mi.
Total time away from car: 33 min.
