15-Jan-2021 -- While driving the "Queensland Dinosaur Trail" (between Winton, Richmond, and Hughenden), I didn’t try to visit any Degree Confluence Points, as most of them were quite remote, and temperatures approaching 40 Degrees Celsius would make long hikes difficult, if not dangerous. Instead, I waited until my trip back South. While driving the remote Gregory Developmental Road - from Charters Towers to Emerald - I made a detour to visit this point that, fortunately, lies less than 400m from a road. Fortunately the temperature during my (short) hike was a bit more reasonable - about 35 Degrees.
The point lies in mostly grassy ranchland, with some bare dirt patches that appear to have been cleared by recent rain. There is a grove of trees to the North, and a notable eucalyptus tree just to the West.
Here is a remote-controlled aerial video of this confluence point.
