The Gregory developmental highway is mostly known for the grass plains and open spaces that surround it. There's not an awful lot of choices of things to do around there. In fact, a confluence is probably the most exciting thing one could do there.
At one point we turned West on a different road that leads to various lonely stations and one even more lonely confluence. After 8 kilometres on that road, my GPS indicated that I was sitting right on the latitude and had to walk about 400 metres.
I gave my two year old son a piggy back ride and we went for it. He was a bit intimidated by the cows who came near us to see what we were doing and unimpressed by me walking around trying to find something he could not see. So when the deed was done we headed back to the car, having done a second easy confluence in as many days.
