13-Dec-2006 -- As we pressed on our way down south for the Christmas Holiday, there was a confluence very close to the road. So close that I could not let it unexplored.
It was to be in someone's backyard. I went to ask the lady who lives there for permission to poke around her property and explained why. She didn't seem too sure about the whole thing and was a bit wary but offered to come with me anyway.
My daughter Darcy was the only one of our party interested in coming so the others waited at the car while we walked the whole 200 metres that separated us from the invisible point. The confluence lays inside a goat shelter of all places! The tenants were all away from home, eating grass around the place.
That's probably the most original one I've done and one of the easiest ones for sure. Once the mandatory pictures were taken, we headed towards Charters Towers and our next confluence 22S 147E
