02-Mar-2019 -- From 36S 148E, I drove westward, crossing briefly into Victoria at Tintaldra, before returning to New South Wales at Jingellic. After a long drive along River Road - a narrow gravel road that parallels the Murray River - I eventually joined the Hume Highway. This is the main highway that connects Australia’s two largest cities: Sydney and Melbourne.

Just before reaching the town (actually, small city) of Albury, I turned onto (gravel) Davies Road, which passes just 400 m west of the point, which lies in a mixed sheep/cattle farm, near a set of large power lines. (Previous visitors had noted crops of both wheat and soybeans growing here; however, during my visit, the land was used just for grazing.)
