03-Jun-2002 -- Caribou Lake, Michigan
Came here on a blustery day. My first try at a confluence point. Winds were steady at 15 to 20 knots out of the south east, so the lake had a one-foot chop. It was really interesting trying to figure out how to hold the
GPS, hold the camera, hold the paddle and hold my position over the confluence while trying to keep the deck of my kayak facing up. Must have look pretty comical from the shore.
At any rate, each time I exactly zeroed in my GPS and took the picture, the wind and waves pushed me off. So please forgive the slightly off reading in the picture.
Great fun. Thanks for the opportunity.
