09-Aug-2009 -- Cheryl and I were in Missouri for a square dance weekend at Osage Beach on Lake of the Ozarks. 38N92W is the last of three confluences visited during that extended weekend. We were en route back to St. Louis. Having just visited 38N93W we were enjoying back roads through rural Missouri to reach this confluence. We found an unmarked road (probably a long driveway) off of County Road 9030 that took us within 100 yards (I forgot to note exactly how far) of the confluence. I parked and walked south across an open pasture (photo #4 to the north) and a dry stream bed to the confluence that was at the edge of a wooded area along the stream bed (photos #1 and #3 to the east and south). I had no difficulty getting all zeros on my GPSr (photo #5). Interestingly, we saw no farmhouses nearby so did not get to meet Linda who joined the previous visitors 8 years ago for their visit. From there we continued south to I-44 and made our way back to St. Louis in preparation for our return flight to Washington, DC on Monday.
